Horizons Cork Employer Recognition Event 2026

We were proud to be asked to the Horizons Employers Recognition Event held in Midleton Distillery on Wednesday the 15th of April, which celebrated businesses that support inclusive employment.

Horizons are a fantastic organisation based in Cork that supports children and adults with intellectual disabilities as well as those with additional needs such as autism or physical and medical conditions. They do incredible work helping individuals integrate into the workplace and wider community.

The event was held to recognise businesses across Midleton and Carrigtwohill that support Horizon and its members. During the event there was a guest speaker, ex county hurler Donal Óg Cusack who gave an inspiring talk and then each participating business was presented with a plaque for their employee to proudly display in-store.

Esquires – The Organic Coffee Co. was asked to attend in celebration of Aisling who works with our front-of-house team in Esquires Midleton through the Horizons programme. Her positivity and connection with the customers make a real impact on her days in the café and we are delighted to have her as part of our team.
